This section will be where I will be putting up all my GenCon 2008 experiences. Since GenCon is still a long while a way I will put here some companies and games I want to check out at the con. Hopefully they will be there and have a booth.
Privateer Press
Legends comes out this year and I want to be sure I’m one of the first to get it. I’m also hoping that this is when Monsterpocalype will be released.
Pulp City
I’m fortunate to be a play tester in this game and would love to meet the folks behind this wonderful skirmish game.
Darkson Designs (AE-WWII)
I’m a big fan of Darkson Designs and love their game AE-WWII. I hope to be able to get some inside scoops on what they have planned for the line.
Rezolution
There may be starters of their upcoming game coming out at Gencon. Got see it for myslef.
Upperdeck Entertainment (World of Warcraft Miniatures)
A new pre-painted miniatures game by Upperdeck Entertainment. I can be sure that if they do release at GenCon the line to their booth will be long.
Kraken Editions (Alkemy)
The line doesn’t interest me as much as the method of producing their miniatures.
Dust Tactics
The more I read and see about this game the more I like it.

hey dude. wow u seem to be the guru. was wondering on the scales of all these diff miniatures. so hard to find from pics (theyr all close ups). more particularly, i play 40k and was wonderin if any miniatures from these other games have close scales for conversion/40k potential. would classic battletech mechs be about the size of a 40k dreadnought? seems a bit small but hey. please let me know. cheers, lee; whassup_lee@hotmail.com

All this miniatures are in the 28mm – 30mm scale so most of them will work well for 40K, except for the World of Warcraft miniatures. I think those are 40mm. The Classic Battle Tech models are not in scale with 40K dreadnoughts.
