Started Painting Thaniras Elves
I got my Thaniras Elves starter fleet today and started to paint them. I wanted to make them look sort of like High Elves from Warhammer Fantasy.

Iron Dwarves Victorious!
Last night I played my first game of Uncharted Seas. It was dwarves verses humans. I came out of that game victorious mainly because my GW cube of black dice kept rolling 6′s. The game is a lot of fun. The rules are fast and simple and simulate naval combat very well without bogging it down with detailed bookkeeping. Highly recommended. Check it out here.

I made a PDF of Iron Dwarves start cards for Uncharted Seas. These cards have been resized to fit 2.5 x 3.5″ card sleeves with added hull and crew damage trackers for dry-erase pens. You can download them via the link below.

Uncharted Seas Prep
This Friday will be my first game of Uncharted Seas. Choosing Iron Dwaves as a faction was a good choice for me. 1. They are easy to assemble (One piece). 2. They are easy to paint. I’m really excited to try this game out. I also really like what they have planned in the future for this game.

Very inspirational stuff. They look great. I’ve just ordered my own elf fleet, but haven’t figured out how I want to paint them yet. You have given me a few things to mull over, and great deal of impatience waiting for them to arrive.

Wow, what an awesome paint job! I just picked up this set today. What paint did you use on the main bodies, a white color and a black wash?
