I am back home from GenCon 2008 and finally got a chance to unpack most of my stuff. Here’s an inventory of this years haul.
Privateer Press
Rackham
Pulp Monsters
Dark Age
Anima Tactics
Alkemy
Wyrd
Other Lines
Today I got Frontiers in the mail. For $29.99 you get a whole lot of stuff. The rules seem very easy. I hope to try this out sometime next week.
I ordered a bunch of AE-WWII figures today. Here’s what I am anticipating.
Yesterday I picked up the Karmans and Red Blok that my local game shop has been holding for me. The pre-paints on the Karamn are very well done compared to the other infantry in AT-43. There are some very noticeable mold lines though. Later today I’m going to search on their forums to see exactly what colors are used on the Karmans. Last night I tried to remove some mold lines and removed some paint in the progress.
Ugh… I’m liking that Red Blok… no surprise there…
To start of the new year I did a quick inventory of some of my collection. I just finished tallying up my Warmachine and Hordes collection. Wow! Do I have a lot of stuff. One day I will have to take them all out and photo them on one large battlefield. Here’s the break down of my unhealthy addiction to miniatures.
Hordes: Total: 270 models, 9316 points
Estimated Value: $2868.29Warmachine: Total: 718 models, 20,253 points
Estimated Value: $6285.00
This has collection has been accumulated over the last 4 years. That comes out to about $190 a month, $44 a week/$6.28 a day.
To my surprise I got more packages in the mail. Gotta love the post office. I ordered these last week Thursday all the way from New York and they arrived today, the day before Christmas.
I got two boxes. The first box had my German Geneticist starter force for AE-WWII and the second one had the Pan Oceania Cutter Tag and Nomads Szalmadra Squadron Tag for Infinity.
It is a very merry Christmas indeed!
Got a call from my LGS today that they got Broadsides Bart and Dirty Meg. Unfortunately no sign of Pirates of the Broken Coast book.
To my surprise I saw that I had package come in today. Wow 3 days from the east coast all the way there. That’s the fastest ever! And it’s even during the last week of Christmas. What I shock. I opened the box with much joy finding my 2 Infinity starters, 2 blisters and rulebook. I wrapped the starters with my daughter and put them under the Christmas tree labeled “To Daddy, From Mommy & Jena.” Looks like it arrived well before Christmas and well before any of my expectations.
Last night I finally bought Grim Angus. Don’t know when I’ll get to work on him as I still have some Lord of the Rings stuff to complete first. I may just assemble him so I can play him in the league.
