Classy! I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to do the fig justice, personally.

I really like how the ape came out. The metallic with the red is nice.

Yep, I’m now convinced I need Ape-Bot. Not that my paint job will be anywhere as good as yours. Thanks for the inspiration, though.

More Pulp City Painted
Yesterday I was going through my stash of Gen Con loot and realized there are a lot of models that I picked up there that I’ve still not painted. I decided to get to work on them.

Games That Don’t Get the Attention They Deserve
Today i was just thinking how refreshing it was to get folks to playing Monsterpocalypse. Where I game locally it always seems that folks are playing the same old same old. It’s either Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy or Warmachine/Hordes. While these games are fun to play, doing the same thing over and over again can get boring. Last years breath of fresh air was AT-43 but with all the changes happening with Rackham it may seem that game will die on the road side due to no retail support from Rackham. The shops here had their pre-orders dropped by Fantasy Flight with no direction on where to go to buy new Rackham products.
So now it’s back to the same old same old with the exception of Monsterpocalypse. Over there years I’ve found some great games that are really good but don’t seem to get the attention I think they deserve. Here we go.
All of the above games don’t require a ton of models to play, and are very affordable to start. I encourage folks to check them out and open up new horizons in your gaming experience.

Looks like Rackham is just re-organizing with new owners. There may be hope yet :).

I really love Dark Age and Rezolution. Anima tactics looks interesting, but expensive for a third game where it’s so hard to find opponents in my area!

More Pulp City Completed
Here’s all the Pulp City figures that I’ve completed so far this week. I retook some pictures of ones I’ve done before. Here they are in their new background.

The Dragon Forge bases are great; I estimate roughly 60% of my painted Pulp City minis are mounted on them. What I really like about them is that they are not too cluttered, meaning mounting a model is easily done.
Looking forwrds to watching this batch acquire paint – will we see some WiP’s as you go, or the finished minis?

I’m with leon there, the look really nice – I must get me some.
Any update on the finished Nuke?

Thanks. I’ve primed Nuke’s base. I still need to finish these guys up.

Good to go then! I know how hard it can be to “get things going” sometimes!
I injured my left hand last night, FORTUNATELY I’m right handed!
