    Revisiting Dark Age

I love Dark Age. I love the models and the game. Sadly I’m the only one here locally who is into it, until now. Another local player has some interest in the game and is actually picking up models for the game. I’m not going to let this opportunity go to waste so I’m breaking out my models and refreshing on the rules.

I think you need to start thinking about this game again, Larkin. There will be some surprises in the not-so-distant future! :D

Games That Don’t Get the Attention They Deserve

Today i was just thinking how refreshing it was to get folks to playing Monsterpocalypse. Where I game locally it always seems that folks are playing the same old same old. It’s either Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy or Warmachine/Hordes. While these games are fun to play, doing the same thing over and over again can get boring. Last years breath of fresh air was AT-43 but with all the changes happening with Rackham it may seem that game will die on the road side due to no retail support from Rackham. The shops here had their pre-orders dropped by Fantasy Flight with no direction on where to go to buy new Rackham products.

So now it’s back to the same old same old with the exception of Monsterpocalypse. Over there years I’ve found some great games that are really good but don’t seem to get the attention I think they deserve. Here we go.

All of the above games don’t require a ton of models to play, and are very affordable to start. I encourage folks to check them out and open up new horizons in your gaming experience.

Looks like Rackham is just re-organizing with new owners. There may be hope yet :).

I really love Dark Age and Rezolution. Anima tactics looks interesting, but expensive for a third game where it’s so hard to find opponents in my area!
