Project Space Marines: Part 1

Today I started painting my Space Marine army in the traditional Ultra Marine blue and gold. I finished a 10 man tactical squad and a 5 man assault squad.

    Did you hand paint the blue or did you airbrush it on?

    I hand painted them all blue with Foundation Mordian blue. Here’s the steps I took with them.

    Prime black then
    Foundation Mordian Blue then
    Asurmen Blue Wash then
    P3 Cygnar Highlight dry brush then
    Pick out the details and trimmings with bolt gun metal and shinning gold.

    These look really nice. What did you use to paint the crests on the chests?

    Thanks. I used GW Shinning Gold for all the gold parts.
